On
Thursday, April 19, 2007, we hosted legendary Blues
bassist Johnny B. Gayden at an Eden-sponsored event
at Sam Ash Music in Lombard, Illinois, in Chicagoland.
I've had the honor to know Johnny for twenty years,
having met him through DC Blues guitarist Linwood Taylor
and the late Albert Collins, one of the finest - and
most generous - Blues artists of all time.
Johnny's
mentoring and firendship have been an irreplaceable
support throughout the years. And the entire band greatly
appreciates Johnny taking part in our first in-store
appearance for Eden Electronics. I've said again and
again how greatful I am to get to work with Gary, and
how much I admire his talent. So, you can imagine how
proud I was to hear Johnny praiseGary repeatedly.
We
all had a blast - Johnny included. But, dang
folks. . . there just aren't words to describe how much
fun it was to have Johnny sit in with the band. Gary
enthusiastically joins me in extending an open invitation
for him to throw down with us any time! In fact, we're
going to see if we can't find a way for Johnny's band
and ours to share a double bill.
During
the event there were several people taking photographs,
including our Offical Photographer, Jeremy Sparling
of ImageI.
All pictures on this page are courtesy of Jeremy, and
we thank him deeply for fitting such a long, arduous
day into his already busy schedule - especially on such
short notice. And, I'll say it right out - Jeremy, you
are bad to the bone, bro! GREAT job!

you're a freakin' legend!
